Auto Shanghai 2019 Huawei officially announced its entry into the automotive component sector for intelligent vehicles. This year will see the unveiling of a number of flagship models using Huawei’s Intelligent Component, which will begin the commercialization of Huawei’s Smart Automotive Solutions.
Huawei has recently launched the high-performance AR HUD. The 10LA-HUD can turn a simple windshield into a 60-inch HD screen and adjust the projection area by observing the user’s eye movements. Its unique visual identification and AI capabilities will ensure a great experience in viewing, as well as assist in driving.
In addition to managing the superior distance and velocity measurement capabilities of the traditional MMwave radar, the Fordy Imaging Radar will provide innovative non-line-of-site (NLOS) sensing strength. This technology will work regardless of outside lighting conditions and bad weather. Also, the resolution of the Huawei Fordy Imaging Radar is much higher and it will be able to detect the presence of objects in a wider range.
With the highest computing power in the industry, the MDC 610 will serve as an intelligent driving computing platform. Having an MDC core and complete toolchain, the MDC 610 will allow for the use of high-level automatic driving functions such as Traffic Jam Pilot (TJP), Highway Pilot (HWP), and Auto Valet Parking (AVP). Open and standardized platform Huawei MDC aims to accelerate the growth of the intelligent driving industry.
At the product unveiling, Huawei officially announced its state-of-the-art HD Map Cloud Service Capability and Roadmap. Currently, Huawei has acquired Grade Surveying and Mapping skills in creating electronic navigation maps and developing Comprehensive HD Map Data Collection and Mapping capabilities.
After four years of research and development, Huawei has come up with an intelligent thermal management solution for cars. Through integrated design, centralized components, and control functions, Huawei has achieved 100 percent improvement in TMS energy efficiency, calibration efficiency, and 80 percent improvement in user experience.
