Avast, a digital security services company, has launched an Android version of its ‘Secure Browser’.
The company has recently launched its service on mobile devices outside its Windows and Mac platforms.
Last year Avast bought a browser called ‘Teneta’, a blockchain-based firm called Consensis, which was set to build that browser.
Avast’s privacy and cyber security engineers have poured the browser into full encryption after purchasing Tenta.
“Our goal is to be the first all-in-one browser that protects user privacy, as well as offering a smooth browsing experience,” said Scott Curtis, vice president, and general manager of Avast Secure Browser. Mobile support is another milestone in our long-term goal.
Currently, Secure Browser can be downloaded for Windows 7, 8, 10, Android and MacOS platforms.
